🎤 1. Pick the Right Spot

Location is everything! In Montgomery’s MGM Busking Program, you’ll be set up at one of our four curated locations:📍 79A📍 MAP 360📍 Kress📍 Citizen Park (Across from 23 Court)

Each space offers foot traffic and visibility, but it’s up to you to own the space with your performance.

🎶 2. Engage with Your Audience

🔹 Make eye contact & smile🔹 Interact between songs or acts🔹 Invite people to clap, sing, or participate in your performance🔹 Thank your audience—gratitude goes a long way!

💰 3. Have a Tip Jar & Digital Payment Option

Even though MGM Buskers get paid $100/hour, you can still earn extra tips!✅ Place a clear tip jar in front of you✅ Use digital payment apps like CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal✅ Make a simple QR code sign so people can tip easily

🎧 4. Sound & Setup Matter

🎛 Make sure your sound level is loud enough to be heard but not overwhelming🔌 Battery-powered amps & mics can help you project your sound🎒 Keep a small busking kit with extra batteries, water, & anything you might need

⏳ 5. Manage Your Time Wisely

⏰ Arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in✅ Perform your full scheduled time🚀 If a backup performer is needed, you could get extra time!

💬 Have a sign with your name & social media🎥 Ask someone to take a video for future promo📸 Take a good performance photo for Instagram & tag @ThinkAllBeAll

📜 7. Know the Rules & Regulations

As a registered busker in the MGM Busking Program, you must:✅ Follow Montgomery’s busking ordinance (Read It Here)✅ Be respectful of other buskers, businesses, and the public✅ Check in & out on time so you can get paid
